New gen6 2ss owner from sweden
 

Hi lads.
just traded my 2012 2ss rs camaro for a 2017 2ss in arctic blue.
car has automaic.
magneride.
active exhaust.
black and white leather.
it's only gone 7000 miles. has had black body stripes fitted. will post some piccies soon as i can. i collect it wednesday.
so excited to have all the extras the gen6 2ss has over the gen5.

What's your experience driving a Camaro in Sweden?

very good. lots of compliments and in general people love american cars here.
great cars as they hardly depreciate aswell.
only down side is getting parts.
hopefully this one only being 3 years old and only gone 7000 miles it'll be fine for many years to come.

I think I saw a story that (old) American cars are a big thing in Sweden, although I'm sure they'd love your Camaro too

I used to live and work in southern Norway, about 30 miles from the Sweden border in the town of Fredrikstad. We used to drive there about every other weekend to buy our liquor as the sin taxes were a bit less, and the area was nice. In the summer months, the amount of old American classic cars that are there is really surprising, so I can imagine your Camaro standing out.

• Congrats on the Gen6!
• I lived in Tokyo once, and my rich financial firm employer sent my US spec 1999 BMW M3 E36 convertible over for me and paid the $500/month for parking it in Tokyo (as well as for my apartment - that was amazing).
• Since BMW sold the euro-spec M3 in Japan (much cooler than my US-spec), it was not a surprise to see one.
• However, my steering wheel was on the other side - Japan is right hand drive, US is left hand drive.
• This made for fun when going thru a toll booth - it was a LOOONG REAAACH.
• It might have felt really funny too for my passengers - they were sitting on the "dangerous side".
• You must be having some adjustment to left hand drive coming from Britannia.
• If you bring your Camaro back to England, driving B-roads will be very exciting!
• Hope you enjoy your drive!
