Spring/Shock Questions

So I really want to lower the car but I don't want to do just a spring. I've been looking at coilovers, but I think I would rather go with a spring shock set up. Not a big drag racer but do enjoy going to places like the Tail of the Dragon and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

After looking on here it seems the Koni's and Bilsteins are still under development. Is there another shock that would mate up well with some BMR springs? I really like BMR's products. Everything they make seems to be of great quality. Any help is appreciated.

Coil over is the only option we have right now besides using 1LE suspension components.

I bet GM could make more money if they offered the shocks and springs separate.

front springs are $203 ea. list so I'm not sure they could, but they are matched well.
