So I found out I have the quickest stock tune camaro in the country
 

Raced in the SS class only intake and exhaust mods allowed no mt drag radials allowed etc unfortunately went out in the semifinals this weekend at camarofest . Thx to dan larry mark jon and the rest of the crew who helped . Gotta feelin there might have been water or moisture on the track at the hit and congrats to tim for making the finals .

Quickest stock tune? They all have the same tune from the factory this makes no sense?

I'm glad somebody said something. I have no idea what this means.

I think he means that it doesn't have an aftermarket or tuner done tune

So, you raced every Camaro in the country? You must have been there for weeks! Wait, mine wasnt there. :-/

Maybe you were the quicker one there, but has more to do with driving skill than the tune as factory cars are nearly identical stock.

at camarofest youre allowed to change tires ( no 00 treadwear drag radials ) exhaust mods ok and intake mods ok .
Tune and other bolt on parts are not allowed.

While the car has run much much quicker in cold air (11’s ), the KY heat and humidity kept us in the mid 12s all weekend..

I run my own propeirtary drop in filter with stock box , exhaust mods are limited to cat back only . Stock intake manifold and exhaust manifolds .
In good air 11.90s at 116 @ camarofest with 3000DA heat and 97 degrees and crazy heat plus horrid track conditions 12.42 and 12.44
Both the 1st and 2nd best times . I didnot have the highest mph ( I have a vert )

But thanks to all the great competitors . I won on a holeshot when I spun on one of the rounds . Car had bad vibration and tire shake on the semi final round ..

Finished 2nd in my class at autocross. Brakes were shot and concentrated on the semifinals in the drag race round .

Congrats to all the folks who showed up at camarofest , you really are true chevy lovers and you’all have some fast ass cars !

So is this against other verts only or you beat out all the coupes too?

I think the more appropriate title would be you won a class at Camarofest. You're not the fastest in the country by far.
