Dim Headlights
Has anyone noticed their hids getting dim. My 2010 lights don't seem as bright as they used to be. What other options is everyone using. Would like to keep the RS lights with the halos but got to get these headlights brighter.

The nature of HID bulbs is to go further into the color spectrum as time goes by the 4300k factory will go into 5k or so thus the less light output. I would try diode dynamics for some replacement bulbs DS1

New bulbs. They can be had on Amazon for pretty cheap

How long these usually last?

They last a long time but if you want the brightest your gonna have to get new ones in the 4300k the ones that last longest would be philips ds1 bulbs they are $$$ but some of the best

bumping this. i ordered diode dynamics because mine were starting to grow bluer, and they were brighter at first, but not the brightest. i did get 6000k bulbs, but i cant imagine the difference between 6000k and 4300k being THAT much more noticeable. for example, if i sit next to my friend's 2008 335i running on what i think are stock bulbs (definitely not new and he's had the car for some time without replacing them), his light flushes mine out completely. i just feel like this is rather dim for an HID headlamp. anyone?

Mine is dim on the drivers side compared to the passenger side, im wondering if the ballast has gone weak. I changed out to the 5k xenarc's and they look the same as the 4300 and put out just the same. I know my car being lowered doesnt help, i need to reaim the projecters. Also, I think there is haze in my lens.
