Blue velvet rare?
 

How many 2016 Camaro 2ss were painted blue velvet? Is it gonna be considered a tare color?

No volume car will ever be a rare color......

It was a single year run for 2016 which i don’t understand, just like my previous Red Jewel Tintcoat being a 2010-2011 only run.

1,902 total (all trim levels). Not sure of the breakdown for each model.

Single year does not matter.....When it is 1 of 500 then you might have something. Or wait 50 years. I’m assuming by using the term rare you mean that it will bring more money. It will be rare and that you won’t see too many of them in any one area of the country , however it won’t increase what it goes across the auction block for.....

Per here only 1902 Blue Velvets were made for 2016 for all three engine types.

That's a pretty color. I like it better than the blue that it seems like 80% of gen6 cars have.

That's the first one I've seen. 1,900 is pretty rare in the scheme of things.

My recently traded 2015 2LT was blue velvet with white stripes. Beautiful color.

It draws a lot of attention for some reason that’s for dayuuum sure!!

Thats what I like about my Red Tintcoat - dont see it everywhere like the Red Hot.

I have a blue velvet vert with blue top, so according to those charts my worst case is 1 of 83.

I have no idea who moderates this forum.....but this ^^^ guy needs to go. Noticed him talking sh*t in the last 3 threads I’ve viewed.....and if you look at his 40 or so posts not a single one is offing anything to the forum. No questions. No help. All negative and being an ass. Must be 13yrs old or something.

Looks just like my 2012 5th gen. It was called Imperial Blue Metallic.
