WTB: 6th Gen Key Fob
 

Totaled your car and dont have anything better to do with your key fob? Why chuck it in the trash when you could trade it for cash!

Yep, I lost one of my fobs, looking to replace it. If you are parting out a car or don't want your extra key I will happily purchase it from you. Looking for a manual key specifically, not sure if an automatic key would work since there is an extra stop/start button.

Not sure if a used fob can be reprogrammed, search the forum. The used hard key can't be recut. Your cheapest bet is to buy a new, unprogrammed from Ebay for about 50 bucks and program it yourself. You can get the key cut at a locksmith for about 15 to 25 bucks. I did this to get a spare 3rd key.

Not in my town. 85$ to cut and 160$ to program

You can program yourself. Its in the owners manual. I programmed my Z06 with the "long" method and worked perfectly. Just follow the steps, easy. No need to have a dealer do it.
