You really have to see it in person to get an idea of its beauty. I’ve been blessed to be able to visit it.

Looks like it wasn’t a total loss and much of the artwork was apparently saved.

Yeah very sad story, I heard that on the news earlier today.

Hopefully they will be able to rebuild the way it was

It was truly saddening to see the spire fall. It will be rebuilt to last a thousand years though. :frown:

While his knowledge would've been useful in rebuilding the cathedral, it certainly would've broken his heart to see it burn. :brokenheart:

I remember visiting during a high school spring break when I lived overseas as a military brat. Horrible such a historic landmark suffered such damage.

It a good thing he did it. Probably need to do it for a lot of historical monuments here in the States.

Medieval people could be quite the engineers when they wanted to be.

I heard that it may have been foul play.

That video belongs to Stefan Molyneux and personally I wouldn`t trust anything that guy spouts he`s a podcaster and YouTuber who promotes scientific racism and white supremacist views. Do a Google search.

The guy HAS sort of jumped the gun a bit on the subject of race and i intelligence. That doesn't mean he's full of beans.
