Ignore List Option?

Hey Guy's, What does this do?? Does it keep trolls from posting on a thread??
Several of us have had companies that performed bad work.
Now the troll (my case) after months post lies on my build thread again.
I am here to enjoy my toy, share what I've leaned, Build it, mod it and drive it.
I have been screwed ($$$) wish from two. One made it right, the other just trolls.
Mods deleted that post (thank you) But it will not fix the problem, the kid will be back. Thanks

All it does is make it so you can't see their posts they can still see yours and everyone elses. It used to work better back in the day you couldn't see theirs and they couldn't see yours not sure why it changed.

Main thing you need to understand is there will always be critics and keyboard hero's on a car forum it's not the 90s where you put up or shut up anymore with the revival of camaro you now have the old mixing with the new and they rarely see eye to eye.

Thank you for the info. I hate to bother Mods with BS troll posts.
I did it once, I guess they are allowed to SCAM future customers.
So why the option??

This forum works like every other vbulletin software board I’ve been on, if you ignore someone, it just hides his content but shows he said something. Your posts can still be read by him no matter what.

Trolls are part of forums I've been plenty guilty of it myself sometimes. Best thing you can do with a company scamming is make it known in the vendor subsection and your regional subsection just be wary of your wording when you do if they are a paying vendor they get preferential treatment.
