Exhaust Opinion
Currently I have Kooks catless headers to stock NPP system. I just dont love it like I loved my 5th gen set up like that.
I am thinking about putting the stock manifolds and primary cats back on and switching to the Corsa extreme setup. What do you all think of the two setups? |
I have the Corsa Extreme + Catback exhaust and absolutely love it!!

What do you not love? the volume, or tone? |
Weld some resonators in the X pipe and you will like it a lot better.

I put on an AWE Touring catback and it's fantastic. No valves, but I never used the valves on the stock exhaust. There's a very, very small drone on the highway at 2k RPM

I have the Borla Atak with X pipe and Gesi UHO 1,000hp Cats and Stainless Works headers and just love the system. Zero, zero drone and the NPP valves on the Borla work great.

I have the same one, and LOVE it... but it was too loud for me even with HF cats... I ended up adding the MF X center muffler to tone it done. |
I have Kooks catless headers, and I have some additional resonators in place of the smashed section by the axle. I just dont love the tone/sound like I did from my 5th gen.
Sound level is not the issue, its the sound itself. The resonators I put in did help a lot with the raspiness, but a lot of my research has led to changing the muffler setup. |

Put an AWE Touring axle-back on it and it should be fine.

I have Kooks headers WITH cats to the stock NPP and its one of the best sounding cars I have ever owned.
Big mistake to not go with cats in a performance exhaust system. I have never heard a car that was catless that did not sound like garbage. |
