Seriously though, those magnets will mar your paint over time. I know from experience. :nod:

I figure I risk marring if I slide the "Guard" around on the panel, but could it still mar the paint when its just sitting there against the door not moving?

Yes. Can't be sure about the current paint GM uses but I had a magnetic sign seem to suck the metal flake out of an older Olds 442. Had the sign on for a few days and the paint looked faded when it was removed. Also have had magnetic clasps on cell phone holsters mark the Zagg screen cover protectors on two cell phones. So it is obvious that they can do damage. JMHO :thumbdown:

Maybe if you are constantly moving them it won't have any affect. Need a paint guy to chime in.

Set (not stick) these on the hood in different places and stared at them for 3 hours...
Can't decide... might put them on bumper.

What you guys think, leave orginal or paint black to go along with the black and red color theme?

Keep flag, paint the rest black.

Today, I dropped my car off before work... maybe it will get finished to pick up before dinner.

In general - I like sticking with a color theme rather than mixing colors and finishes. Hard to say for certain on this - where are you going to put it?

But I took them off last night. My car is being Opti-Coated as I type this. When it is finished I'm going to replace the red SS with a black one and put them on straight. They don't look right to me the way they slant.

Added a couple of Fifty emblems that where I painted the Orange section Red...

Foose Outcast wheels FINALLY arrived after a lengthy backorder. Love how the center cap red/white/blue is similar to the Camaro emblem

There fender badges so it would go where the present 6th generation badges are on the fender.One for each side
