That's nice looking. I'd much rather buy this that one of those overpriced fabricated metal units.

Got my tracking number for mine a couple of days ago and can't wait to have it in hand. I plan to wipe mine down real good and paint it to match my car, Blue Velvet Metallic since all my billet caps are painted that color (by me) and it should dress up the engine bay.
Really appreciate this unit and as said, I too would rather go this route than buying a high priced replacement tank.

Everyone wanted an air intake and you come out with this 3 years later. :noidea::facepalm: :emoticon1:

I should have mine on Friday according to the tracking number.

Oh please. You can't compare the two - this is a universal fit cover compatible with multiple makes and models, while an intake would be for a single engine model with a relatively small market, and would require thousands of dollars (or more) in research and compliance testing/tuning.

Its not like there aren't multiple CAI options for the V6 already out there, and they're all going to perform basically the same anyways, especially without a tune - just pick one. If you really want a CAI that actually makes a difference, just get the GMPP offering which comes with a flash that changes the behavior of the car.

We really appreciate your business and support. Can't wait to see some pictures!

I have heard about some people doing a painted finish or carbon fiber pattern - it's exciting to hear about the personal touch some of you will be adding!

Thanks again,
Michael

Can someone say Blue Velvet Metallic? Got it painted and turned out really nice! Will get it installed in next few days.

This is so much better than that pink showing and paying $300-$400 for a completely new tank when this one is in great shape.

Some of us prefer brand loyalty but that’s clearly not returned by Roto-fab with customer appreciation. This part is just for people with money to burn, useless “upgrade.”
