Last hurrah of the year with my A10 ZL1 and came up a little short. I will post the slip. I used 20" Pirelli Trofeo R's and they are terrible drag tires. Too much launch rpm and they hop & skip no matter what air pressure I tried.
I didn't go below 22psi. DA was negative with ambient temp around 46 degrees. Unfortunately, there was a stiff 15mph head/crosswind which was a PITA. Leaves were occasionally blowing across the track tripping the lights. Not bad considering my lack of drag racing interest these days.

Best 60' was 1.75. Stock tune, ported TB, Green panel filter, secondary cat delete. No weight reduction.

Stock Goodyear Supercar 3s are way better. These Trofeos are not drag radials but overpriced/mediocre road course tires. In 19" sizes, the Trofeos are better. I used 305/30-20 Trofeos for the pass above.

stock tune, pulley, etc. I have a few no tune mods like secondary cat delete, Green panel filter, Mamo TB, IC reservoir. No weight reduction and I weigh 230...:bonk:

Next time, been there done that and you keep thinking. Man what could I have done? You'll get there.

Stephen, if you get faster you will probably have to get a roll bar or cage especially if it runs in the 10 second bracket.
