Which Wix filter for SS?

Ok bear with me on yet another thread about an oil change. Did a search and found nothing. I’m considering getting a Wix oil filter since a lot of people seem to like them when they do their tear downs, etc. I go on their website to see which one fits the LT1 and see the WL10290XP is the one they say fits. Go on amazon and other automotive sites and there is no filter by that part number.

I went to amsoil and pulled some info from there:

Website shows: Wix 57060-EA
Amazon Confirmed: Wix 57060XP Fits Camaro SS

Amsoil offers EA15K50-EA, I have them, but yet to need oil change and test fit.

I just use the Amsoil filter......I barely put 3000 miles on my car last year. So I just swap the oil and filter out every six months.

AC Delco and Wix are both high quality filters. You can’t go wrong with either one.

Burn up the two free oil changes at the dealer.

I believe Amsoil is great oil however it is not dexos approved which is a whole separate can of worms.

I’ve almost always used wix and never had any issues. If you are not going with extended drain intervals the regular filter may be better than XP in terms of flow and filtering efficiency.

I was doing more research and I don't think the 57060 is a direct equivalent to the PF64 that is on our Camaro's. The bypass PSI for the 57060 is 12 PSI while the PF64 is 22 PSI.

That would be a potential warranty issue if anything happened to the motor.

I'm seeing WL10290XP on the WIX website. But not pulling anything up on Amazon for that part number.

Yeah I can't find that part number anywhere. And that one definitely seems to be a better equivalent filter to the PF64( both are 22 PSI bypass). The 50760 seems to be more comparable to the PF48.
