ZL1 1LE wheels offset confirmation (from a new owner or dealer)

Now that the 1LE's are arriving at dealers, can someone with access to one get a confirmation on the F and R wheel offsets? I've heard rumours online, but no one can actually confirm. GM parts departments have them listed at +50et, which is obviously wrong.

Would be greatly appreciated!

I THINK This is right:

Stock 1LE is +20 & +43

He's asking about the ZL1 1LE. Not SS 1LE.

Yep, ZL1 1LE, not SS.

OminouSS 06-27-2017 11:54 AM

Beat me to it.

Mr. W, are you willing to take a wheel off for us?

I think he understands the question is about a ZL1 1LE, and not SS 1LE. The ZL1 1LE comes with 19" wheel, which could in fact suggest a +50 ET to compensate for a wider wheel with smaller diameter.

I dont think you understand offsets correctly. Offsets don't play a role at all in diameters of the wheels.

From internet rumours, it appears that the offsets may be similar to the z28 wheels, at least on the front 19x11 +11et, but I can't get this confirmed. I have yet to hear anything about the rear 19x12.

ZL1 vs. ZL1 1LE Wheel offset

Does anyone know the offsets of the ZL1 1LE wheels? I know they are 19 X 11 on front and 19 X 12 on the rear but would like to know the offsets.

I know the ZL1 (non-1LE) are the same size and off set as the SS 1LE: 20 X 10 @ 20 mm and 20 X 11 @ 43 mm.

I appreciate the information.

Thanks !

I would like to know the ZL1 1LE off set as well. I got a ZL1 1LE shipping to me any day now and I want to have DD rims and keep the OEM for Track days.

MMR Wheels makes several designs that fit the ZL1 and 1LE that will work well on your car as a daily driver. You can also check in the Parts For Sale sub-section to see if anyone has ZL1/1LE rims for sale.

Here's the info on the wheel finder for the 2017 (as 2018 not out yet)

Here are some options that fit your vehicle. Keep in mind, choosing one of these wheel options may require a different tire size.
FRONT

20" (+0)
21" (+1)
22" (+2)

REAR

20" (+0)
21" (+1)
22" (+2)

Somebody please take their ZL1 1LE wheels off and take photos of the offset specs. Many thanks !

Good luck with the off-sets....Is there no vendor that makes a similar wheel for the ZL-1s?

I'm sure it will be a close fit....but just bear in mind the struts are different on a 1LE (smaller diameter)....The overall height and type of tires is important....The offset needed for a 19" wheel would be different than a 20" tire and wheel depending on the spring perch, ride height, and strut diameter and location...

...Good luck. But personally, I would let an aftermarket vendor work out the specs for each wheel and tire size for a custom off-set....

Good luck, and don't rush into anything.

I'd be happy to take some images/pictures of wheel offsets...but unfortunately, I won't have the time to do so until after the 4th...and even then - I've got to check and see if my garage jack will even fit under this thing. :sm0:
