I'm guessing 2014 as a 2015 model.

Ford is coming out with the next gen mustang as a 2014 model for the 50th anniversary. I wouldn't think GM will be much further behind.

this makes the most sense--a new model for the 50th anniversary. since 2012 is the 45th anniversary, say 2017. seems the most logical.

honestly even when the 2010 camaros came out, i still liked my 4th gen better. it was equally as fast and i just liked the look better. i don't have my 4th gen anymore and so the 5th is growing on me much more. still, i think you'll probably feel the same about your 5th gen when the 6th gen comes out.

2015 is the (for now) scheduled release date for Gen 6. Car will likely move to Alpha platform as well...

Yea, I think you can take this to the bank. Between the new CAFE standards, the Mustang new generation coming 2014, and the Alpha platform needing more than just the Cadillac; 2015 will be the Gen6.

I hope the Gen6 is somewhat molded from the Gen2 and thus conducive to a T-type configuration. This requires a single side glass and a somewhat wrap-around back glass. Also helps the current visiblity issues and keeps the Gen5 unique.

You'd think the 2013 model will get some minor facial and/or rear changes.

well thanks to all of you for your input.. alot of what you guys are saying makes alot of sense.. i guess i will just pull the trigger on a GEN5 i mean they are awsome cars and how much can it really be improved (looks wise)? hope that when ever they do make a change it wont be a big one...

That's just part of Murphey's Law.

No matter how long you wait, and soon as you order something, a new one comes out.

I ordered my Vert back in Jan 11, they started production Feb 11, and before mine was built, they announced the up-coming ZL1.

Now if they offered the ZL1 as a Vert, I'd order one today.
