Colorado kinda looks like it'll be a smaller ICE version of the Silverado EV fascia.

So help me if neither of these truck across multiple trims ends up looking good. GM has two chances to make a truck that I like. Holding out so much hope lol.

These images with less camo are interesting for sure, but it's still too difficult to form an honest opinion about them.

I had that hunch a while ago. It wouldn't surprise me.

Haha, yes. I actually prefer the "twin" model because I have a good chance at liking the styling of one of them.

The GMC front end looks far better IMO. First picture comparison. The Colorado is funky now that we're seeing the fascia lines. It makes me wonder if it's Silverado EV stylized a bit. Still hard to tell for sure.

I agree, Colorado looks a little odd and Canyon looks good but judgement should be reserved until a full reveal.

After my white Camaro, I want a goofy color (orange, purple, yellow, green), and I am not sure what my tolerance of the Colorado styling in favor of any goofy colors will be, since Canyon probably wouldn't get anything too fun.

I also think that it is funny we are talking more about the 23's than anywhere I can find on Coloradofans...

I've got a thread on ColoradoFans in the general 2015+ section that is nothing but updates and news about the 2023 models that I've come across (many of them just reposts of what Fen has posted here lol). It get's some attention, but not a lot. The "audience" on that site is definitely more mellow than the members here...they enjoy being a part of the forum and many of them are awesome contributors but they don't seem to be as excited about new stuff lol. That's OK though. Also, I tried contacting an administrator there about starting up a new section for the 3rd gen models, but I received no response. They really need to do that.

As for colors...yeah I typically like something a bit different...a little out of the norm. Blues, oranges, but then again I've had grey and white in the past so ya never know!

The Bison pkg was almost 6k for the Colorado if you want a reference point. You'll be mid 70s at least.

Yup. Colorado’s really don’t fit well IMO. Might as well buy a Silverado and get a lot more truck.

Really wish they would bring a true S10 size out that gets 30+ mpg on the highway.

I own one. IMO it’s the perfect size truck for my purposes. The Maverick is too small and the bed is almost worthless. Even though midsize and full overlap on price somewhat, the top end full size trucks far exceeds mid size top end.

I haven't checked in a while but I think you can get a decently equipped Colorado or Canyon Crew Cab for $35k. You're still in bare bones Silverado W/T RCSB territory at that price point.

Bhobbs 06-20-2022 01:27 PM

The Colorado and Canyon are more expensive for what they. A bare bones Colorado is about $4k cheaper than a barebones Silverado.

I got a good deal on my Colorado Z71 and it was still a tough choice over a Silverado. I’m glad I went with the Colorado but I can see why some don’t.
