Oh I did not know the Blazer was packing 300+ HP. That adds a little twist of spice to them. However I still do not like crossovers.

An increasing number of folks on the Colorado/Canyon Fans Facebook page claim to have seen the 3rd gen Colorado at their respective jobs.

Kinda makes me wonder if a reveal is imminent.

Doh. Current gen extended?

Which page is that specifically?

Yeah, it hasn't even been introduced yet, GM is continuing production of current model longer, something isn't right. Supply chain? Maybe we should try building more components here.

HartfordRacingCaptain 05-13-2022 08:45 AM

could be mechanical issues during validation trials that they cant mitigate yet, but I don't understand how either that or supply chain issues would push back a reveal instead of just production start unless the result was a fundamental chassis change.

Right, we keep getting EV intros for vehicles years away. Unveil the damn thing!

Bhobbs 05-13-2022 12:24 PM

Looks like the ZR2 will get 33s. I wonder if 35s would fit without too much work. The Bronco gets optional 35s and I would expect the same for a future Ranger.

Dang...was hoping we might actually start to see the new gen start hitting dealerships by year's end. At this rate, we are looking at spring 2023 before the new mid-size trucks start showing up on lots.

They should still have several months on the market before the 2023 Ranger lands. Then one has to wonder if the likes of ZR2 will be available at launch or if it'll be held back for a bit to use as a hype boost later.

I realize that many other factors can get in the way, even if they want to launch it right out of the gate with the "regular" models, but I think it only makes sense to get it available at least some time before the Raptor hits. Why wait?? The ZR2 is very popular. Get it out there and sell more trucks!
