1LE wheels on regular ZL1

I know this has been brought up many times before, but can't find the thread.

Putting 1LE 19x12 (325)on the rear of a regular ZL1. Is there an issue with the wiring harness and needed to be moved, or was this problem only on the SS?

This has also been discussed with putting wider tires on the standard ZL1 wheel in the rear and the right move has been to relocate the driver's side rear wiring harness.

I run ZLE spec wheels (Apex) on my ZL1 with even wider that ZLE spec'd 345/30/19 tires (555RII). No issues after moving the harness in left rear wheel well to the inside (even using factory holes for clips) and rolling out bump in liner with heat gun/roller. Well over a year like this with no issues. I actually was rubbing the rear left inner liner on stock ZL1 wheels/tires after a couple track days, I'm not rubbing any longer even with the bigger tires after relocating the harness and smoothing out the bump.

Honestly, having looked at it a few times, I wonder what that bump is for. There seems to be no purpose to it at all... ease of fabrication maybe? Or perhaps for wiring harness routing that eventually didn't happen? Anyway, good to know it can be smoothed out without any drawback.

The wider setup fits great. It’s when the tire gets taller it has issue with the harness and bump in liner. My 19x12 with 325/30 had plenty of room.

With the 345s, how far do these stick out from the top of the fender well?
I've heard they cane brought in some by adding some neg. camber..
Trying to decide whether to go 19" or keep the 20"

I don’t believe you can run this in a 20inch wheel

If I keep the 20” I’ll probably run the 325.
Wouldn’t mind getting as much meat in the back as possible within reason of course.

I’m not an expert, but I’m not sure I have 1more inch in diameter to give on my 19x12 325/30 setup. Someone else will chime in to confirm tho

Actually with 26mm~1inch you might be okay

Up front with similar ZLE offsets with 20s, you should be fine. On the rear, you may run into some contact on the inner fender itself. I tried with a ZLE offset, 315/30R20 rear tires and had a slight rub on large bumps. I think a slightly lower profile like 305/30 may would be just enough to not have any issues.
