It's Hard to Find Mint 4th Gen Camaro SS Cars

We want to add a 2002 Camaro SS to our collection. Looking for low mileage and mint .... It is not easy.

Those super cool GMMG Camaros were so nice, but even they are hard to find anymore.

We're searching Craigslist and Autotrader but nothing so far.

Thanks in advance.

I found a bunch of low mile 02 Camaro SS on Autoatrader. Are you searching in a close proximity? The GMMG cars have always been rare, that’s nothing new. Are you wanting a 2002 because it had the Limited Edition? Is there a certain color and options?

We check autotrader every week .... mostly high mileage, abused or modified Camaro SSs on Autotrader. We also check Craig's List/Search Tempest. GMMG Camaros are so rare, it's not even worth looking anymore. My husband owned a beautiful stock 2002 black Camaro SS in 2002-we purchased it new, but we had to sell her in 2008 because of the financial crash. So we want another black 2-001-2002 Camaro SS. We prefer auto but will consider manual, and modified if mods were done within reason.

Thank you

We just found a low mileage/perfect 2002 1LE Camaro SS (6 speed) with center mounted exhaust. Black hardtop (no t-tops). Supposedly it's extremely rare and has a better chassis than a regular Camaro SS.

Owner wants $24k or best offer.

Here’s a GMMG Berger Camaro. I’d love to have one in red but I’d settle for this one.

How low mileage? 1000 miles? If it’s not that low of mileage and not a GMMG car or an LE car that person is asking way too much. I have a hardtop Camaro SS and structurally, the only difference between my car and a t-top car is I have a solid roof. More rigid is highly debatable and depending on who you talk to both cars perform the same.

I agree. Many of them were modded, cloned and raced the crap out of. The really good ones are being kept by their caring owners.

Post #13 is incredible. The mileage is good-outstanding. Its a double edge sword though. Although the owner could ask 32g, the realities of the market say that he'll be very hard pressed in getting it. One would argue that you could get a younger camaro with more power and better resale for the same price. The other edge of the sword is as a paperweight for the new owner; To keep the car unique you would have to essentially not drive it. Those potential owners that are seeking to enjoy their camaros may go elsewhere for a better bargain.

Cars with unusually low mileage are better off being kept, because at most times you may not get what you are asking for it. If you can keep it longer, your chances are better that you can get your asking price.
