2021 Mustang
I read that the order bank for the 2021 Mustang is supposed to be available tomorrow, Oct. 12. I wonder if they will have any type of package that competes with the 1LE package on an A10.

The Mach 1 does look sweet, but with an estimated starting price of $50k, I would assume it's going to be well over the 2SS 1LE price.
|
It's still an ugly Ford.

And...doubtful it will outperform even a 2SS.

Factor in mustang will likely get the premium features (lighting, stereo, more comf. Seats and lumbar support. Then it's on par. Now how the performance will be on a track vs a 1le I have no idea. |
Sadly Ford has not made a Mustang that competes with the Camaro when comparing competing trims in this Generation.
You have to buy a GT350 to compete with the 1LE. The Mach 1 should also do it, but again you have to spend more on a Mustang to compete with the Camaro. |

the mach one had my eye but has to be the right price.
talking to someone at a dealer they think it will be high 50s for the handling package where at the 1le is mid 40s so... idk tough call. |

I do agree though. the camaro is bang for the buck and its taken ford how many different packages to beat it and they havnt. They kinda have with the gt350 but... its not 20g more car than the 1le IMO |
Mach 1 looks kinda cool, but like you guys have said bang for buck the camaro will not be beat. Because the camaro chassis is multi platform crossing different brands, I don't think there's anyway that Ford would be able to match it for the price. Solely for the fact that gm can spread that r and d money out over the different models using the chassis where as the mustang is the only vehicle using the chassis as far as I know. My guess anyway
