Current Look:
I finally have my LT1 I orderd with Becky. She arranged to have it built on my birthday before the plant shut down. :) I miss her, but I am glad I got to meet her and hang with her for a while.

I get many questions on here and in the real world about why would I go from a 2SS -> ZL1 -> LT1. My answer is below. I am hoping for a keeper:

The difference between the new LT1 and the SSes

Planned mods:

1. Dye the white stiching to red - Done
2. StoNShow Font plate bracket - Done
3. Replacing the red kneepad set with Recaro Kneepads - Done
4. Painting the rear calipers red - Done
5. Zl1 Rubber guards - Done
6. Red side spear stripes - Done
7. Red Stinger stripe just for the hood - Done
8. Shift Light - Done
9. MRR SS 1LE replicas - Done with Nittos
10. Paint just the inside of those great looking $100 rims with black and then clear plastidip Done
11. Trade my ZL1 Rotofab for an LT1 RF - Done

Of all the cars I have owned they are my favorite seats ever. They are modest Recaros that hold you in the seat ok when you are faving fun and yet are all day seats.

I have driven around 3,000 road trip miles on them between the LT1 and my ZL1. The Recaros in my 5th gen ZL1 looked way cooler, but they pinched my shoulders. And these Recaros really class up the interior.

And they have ventilation and heating that can be hooked up to work.

As for perforance mods, I just want to enjoy the LT1 as it is for a while. I will start with my appearance plans. I need to replace my winter setup ASAP. First gear is a bit useless on 245 all seasons. :)

Congrats on the purchase. Imo it needs the RS or 1LE spoiler...other then that looks good!

Looks awesome sir!!! Congrats! I agree 100% on the seats. If there is one thing I could change on my 1SS, its the seats. I personally am not a huge leather fan, so the alcantara in the center makes them perfect (for me). Just looks SOOO much better than the base seats and imho better than the 2SS seats.

The other day I even got a thumbs up from a Mustang GT driver. His Rustang was looking good so I returned the compliment. And he did not once rev his engine.
