WT Giant F is wrong with my Infotainment?
 

2021 LT1 with the upgraded 8" screen. The USB MP3 playback is sometimes accessible while driving, others not. "feature unavailable while driving". It just decides when it wants to enforce it's own rules apparently.

Also, no matter how many presets I have, let's say it's 23, the damn thing just bounces back to 1-5 when I want to scroll through them all.

Yup. Mine is buggy too. Lately phone calls just stop via Apple Car Play and it disconnects. Amazon music rarely scrolls artists. Same phone in another car, no issues.

Make sure you phones are fully updated as well as your infotainments are fully updated. Also make sure (with iphones at least), you are using genuine OEM cables. Not dollar store junk cables.

That is probably the biggest thing right there...

How did you upgrade to the 8” screen?

Its an option on the LT1. Technology package.

I have the smaller screen but have had almost zero issues. Once in awhile, Waze gets weird but I kill the app on my phone and it resolves it.

Have you had it updated to V155 yet?

no wires, I use Bluetooth, but i'm not even talking about phone use. Just the radio presets jump to the 1st page when i'm trying to scroll through to the last. I have a feeling it has to do with what channel it's currently on.

sorry, when I say USB, I meant the one I plugged in the center console for MP3 playback.

I’ve got a 2021 LT! With the tech package as well. I haven’t experienced the preset issue. The wireless android works extremely well except when I tired to use amazon music. It works through google but consistently plays the wrong songs even though it repeats it back to you. Apparently its a known bug. The amazon app needs a data plan so that’s out. Really sucks that this doesn’t work. I guess I could try and stream through Bluetooth from the phone but that probably will be buggy too.

I want to test to see if USB MP3 playback (just browsing through artists, songs etc) is available while driving BUT only with a passenger in the seat. I have a feeling that's why it's "sometime" available and others not.

Have you had it updated to V155 yet?
