Our primary host hotel will be Holiday Inn Suites, Sweetwater TN. Phone number is 423-337-4900. Ask for Cari. Tell her you are with ETSR Eastern Tennessee Street Rods. Your reservation will be updated with the group rate once we finalize the contract price. Don’t delay, Cari said phones were ringing off the hook the day after we finalized the Rally dates. Quick update. We just topped 300 cars. Membership continues to be strong. This years event will include three days of driving, a car show, lunch and dinner at some of our host restaurants and a special optional trip to the Wheels of Time museum. Do you have any idea on what time the first event begins on Friday morning?

No time has been set as of this writing however the tentative plan is to start rolling groups from the hotel between 7 and 9. The goal is to get cars up on the Dragon early to avoid midday traffic. Being a Friday we have some flexibility to run slightly later as it is a weekday. We don’t want to get people out any later than 10 however. Stay tuned.

Was just looking at AirBnb's to make a trip down in March and then saw this... Might not be a bad idea to wait and ride down in May.

This years event looks to be our biggest so far. There are over 440 members who have signed up on the event page. We are expecting a huge turnout. If you can wait until May you will not be disappointed.

If you haven’t visited the event page recently make sure you do. There is a registration link and information about event shirts you can order. No need to fill out a registration form for every person, just the drivers. A little over 3 months to go!

Update. Both hotels are completely booked. We are working with other hotels to provide accommodations. There are close to 500 drivers who joined the event page. Please visit the event page and register immediately. We need to get an accurate number on how many persons are committed to attend. Thank you in advance.

Registration will officially close as of 2/10. We are at capacity with 180 participants. Preliminary route info is on the event page as well. Making progress! It’s going to be epic.

Is this still open to join? I see the hotel and registration were "booked".. I'm a bit late to the party, but this is the first I am seeing this event. I would entertain the idea of going back to the Smokies.

The event registration is closed. There are currently over 180 cars booked. There is a waiting list if you would like to be on it. Join the event page and tag Bill Hedrick. He is monitoring the list.

Event as in you can’t join with the restaurant stop(s) or stay at the same hotel? I guess, would it be possible to join in with the cruising at all? Obviously the dragon is a public road, just trying to figure out what exactly the registration entails.
