Installing interior spectrum lighting and spectrum footwell lighting
 

Well I have my interior spectrum lighting dark night and footwell lighting installed. A little ruffer than I thought it would be do to some of the harnesses. But got it done and figured out. Still have to get it programmed next week. Here is step by step instructions if anyone is thinking about it.

Yes. This is the spectrum color changing footwell lighting. The regular footwell lighting is a round white light. These color change with the door and radio lighting controlled by the radio.

Oh, been a while since I looked at mine.
how do you feel about the output of the footwell lighting? I think it's absolutely terrible and way too dim. I am making a complaint to GM about it, the pictures on their site completely misrepresent it.

I was not sure I would like it at first but after installed in like the dark night look. The footwell lighting is the white rectangular light. It has a circuit board inside the controls the color output.

That is one thing people are complaining about is it is not bright enough. Also on the driver's side the wire mass is close to it and in my opinion in the way.

Is it as bright as the interior spectrum lighting with 24 colors that comes standard on the 2SS and is an option that I have on my 2LT listed under the lighting & conv. package?

Hello. It is the same kit that comes standard on the 2SS but is a addon for some of the other models. Not sure what your option code was. The kit I ordered when I ordered my 1SS option was SIB for the spectrum dark night lighting. You can order the kit now here.
