Very good video, all the reasons I stayed with the regular ZL1.

I agree with most of his observations and I’m still glad to have a ZLE.

At 1:57 mark he mentions that the 1LE upgrade removes the rear mirror camera from the fin, but my 21 model has it. Maybe different with other years?

It’s your money and at least people have a choice to buy either one.

The 1LE removed the rear camera option in 2019-2020 and came back in 2021. The ZL1 1LE in the video is a 2019 and the ZL1 is a 2020, but I could have been clearer that the option is available 2021+.

This is not right if you're referring to ZL1 1LE. My '20 ZL1 1LE came with a reverse camera.

That’s new info on this surprisingly controversial topic. The 2019 ZL1 1LE in the video definitely doesn’t have it. You are the first 20 that I’ve heard of with it. Maybe they introduced it mid-year in 2020? For clarification, we are talking about the rear view mirror being a video display and not the reverse camera on the touch screen.

There was someone on Facebook claiming they had it on a 2018, but I believe it was added using OEM parts.

If someone has definitive information on when it was introduced on the ZL1 1LE from the factory, then I will post a correction in the video description. I will also reach out to GM Social Media to see if they will confirm. Thanks!

You are saying reverse camera, but above they are talking about the rear mirror camera (the one installed in the fin that changes the rear view mirror from a mirror to a camera view behind the car, not the one for parking on the infotainment screen). Are you maybe confusing the two?

100% waste if it never gets on the track.
