Car put down pretty much exactly as I expected. 490 rwhp/487 rwtq std with 5 smoothing. Temp was 70f. SAE 5 smoothing 480 rwhp/477 Rwtq. Dynojet. Ford uses this dyno to test and calibrate mustangs. It’s dead on. Supposedly the newest GT500 just put down 650 rwhp recently but he couldn’t say too much. They are trying to get that number to stick for the production model. They had 50 new mustangs there setup for road racing. Big contract with ford must be. They had two new 18 mustangs in there also. The last one put down 420 rwhp stock on this dyno. 410 SAE. 10 speed.
No cool down money pull just 3 in a row hot off the highway. Could have probably got about 10 more with a cold pull and hit 500 rwhp std but whatever I’m happy car runs great. Big thumbs up to Watson racing. It’s an amazing facility with top notch customer service. Will be going back to them for a custom remote mount electric water pump in the future. Video here as well as both std and sae print outs. car seems to carry the power better than most I’ve seen. The ported msd must help with that. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X9Lzqx-C288 Attachment 939831 Attachment 939832 |
Awesome numbers. Who is doing your tuning now anyways?
You probably would of hit 500 if you had a hyper blue mettalic car |
Lol maybe
Ryan at GPI mostly. I’ve had some help from Pray in the past too. As well as mr hill They actually mentioned that the afr/tune looked good from what he could see. They see a lot of bad tuning and they were surprised I guess lol. The dyno operater was actually a big Chevy guy. Really cool place. Will be going back in the future for sure. Meziere says they can’t make a direct replacement electric water pump on the lt1 due to shape and location. The only option for now is remote mount custom. They looked more than capable |
Awesome!!! Great numbers!!!

Nice! Great numbers with track numbers to back it up! :)

Nice numbers and pulling strong up top.
Locked and loaded......hunting for good DA |
Very Nice!!

Thanks guys
Numbers are decent enough I suppose. But really nothing special for the mods I have. Just goes to show that dyno numbers aren’t that important necessarily. |

Real car guys race ET. Just throw 70 psi of air in the rear tires, put some bags of ice in the intake, take off both bolts, and wait for a 30* day and post some uncorrected numbers. Lol |
actually uncorrected numbers are usually lower FYI,
To the OP, amazing that boltons can keep the HP up even to 6750, and it does not look like it would cliff fall even then.. wow! |

If you are in "better" conditions than above, than your uncorrected will be higher. I feel sorry for your tuner if he has to tune cars on the dyno in higher temps than that. Might want to add a door or a fan or something. |
