I cant figure these lights out. Are they clear, smoked, slightly smoked?

They look different in pics depending on the light.

Regardless, they are awesome and I need to order some pronto! All SS at least should come with them. :headbang:

Put about an inch long gouge in the rear left wheel's lip. That "clink" noise you hear when the rim touches the curb... :frusty::frusty::frusty:

I would call them slightly smoked in appearance. It made a big difference to the look of the wife's car. The nice thing about these though is that while you have the appearance of smoked lights there is no reduction in output when they light up.

How did you remove the SS badge and backing plate that it's mounted on, from the front grill? From what I can tell, after removing the SS badge the backing plate is molded onto the grill itself. Thx.

The bowtie was off of a Chevy Colorado that was just sitting on the shelf. I cut off the tabs and used double side tape.

Thanks!

Do you mind sharing where you purchased them? Did you get the tails and center light as a package?

I agree with one exception: vehicles painted Silver Ice Metallic. I installed the ZL1 1LE taillights and third brake light two weeks ago, and I'm reinstalling the factory units because there just isn't enough contrast between the body color and lights. Just my opinion . . .

The housing is black inside, the outside is clear. So they give that smoked or dark look while, as someone has already stated, they don't reduced light output. They look even better with an LED reverse light kit :thumb:

Will hopefully be looking to install the Sema lower grille on my baby this weekend. Will start doing some of the prep today when I get home.
