Why do all the Camaro offers suck?
I remember when you use to be able to get 20+% off the msrp. The discounts are terrible

Pandemic happened: decreased supply, people buying more cars (because they got nothing else to spend it on), stimulus money burning holes in pockets.
You're right - I wish I had bought something before the crap hit the fan. |

Any of us who are waiting on an ordered car will probably get screwed over. You think the $1000 rebate on a 2021 is bad. If some or all of us get bumped or cancelled we will have to reorder a 2022 with no incentives. I am just glad I get GM employee pricing. Hope others do to.

Supply and demand.
Also I'm convinced most people do not bargain to their best ability. I ordered a car and wanted a worst case price scenario if no rebates available as my starting point. I was beating my GM card to death. So nearly 1k on there plus GM spiff of 1k. Plus 1k cash back Plus another 1k loyalty bonus that wasn't advertised. I ended up at 6700 off MRSP and I ordered the car, this was at the end of Feb. when it was delivered. If one place is unwilling to deal, go find another, it worked for me. If anyone would like to know who I used, just message me and I'll give you the pertinent info. |
I agree. I have Employee pricing, got 1000 cash, was able to secure recent Lease special. I’m waiting to take delivery. I had to pay someone to find me the build I wanted. Inventory is really low from the experience I had. Deliberated biuying or Lease, went Lease. Other brands also seem to have meek inventory. I had a 16’ ss. Looked for specific LT1 build, every dealer shoving 1LT and 2.0T. CV19, the freeze, odd car market. Electrifying narrative. Sounds weird but was really hard, frictious getting one. Also cant order because of brake pads here in California. Getting strict out here.
