Congrats on your purchase. I'm thinking of getting one. I'm just not sure. The rarity of the ZL1's for us Canadians makes them special. I did see one last summer and I liked it. Debating between a Z06 and ZL1. Maybe I'll just keep what I have haha. These cars are all so good its getting hard to choose which one.

I received a message from my salesman last Wed saying that my ZL1 order had been picked up by the factory, couldn't provide a the schedule, but the build date might be early march..

I attached a spreadsheet I used to track our 2018 orders, just to give you an idea when they were ordered, built and delivered. Don't get discouraged....it is a process and patience is key. Congrats on your car. They are wicked !!

There is some seriously scary stuff in there.
Earliest TPW was march but we have no idea when that car was ordered. There are orders in there that had May TPW's and didn't get delivered until July or august. If thats the case I might be cancelling my order. |

I received another text message from my salesman today stating my Z is set for production March 18th. He also sent the follow and In the words of the salesman; "apparently your is the only accepted order for a coupe making it the first production coupe for Canada, and you can expect delivery early to mid June" I'm not really reading into that to much. |

Also im accepted by production control. Ordered in september. But i have no build date yet. We'll all know more in a month. |
Newfie....
Is that accepted by GM or accepted by production control? Just wondering. There is a long chain of codes to wind through |
I cant follow that spreadsheet.
Some orders are a year from order to delivery and others 3 months. I cant get a good idea from it anyway personally |
And there already have been at least 2 zl1s delivered to canada late in december at some point.
Im thinking they were early production to get advertising out for gm. While the rest of us that have put down deposits and like myself traded in my zl back in september sit and wait.....until late spring....june.. Surely not. The purpose of them not shipping until spring was solely because of tires i was told over and over. Almost makes one not want to buy a gm. But im kinda stuck because i aint a gt350 or hellcat fan |
