6-Piston Mono-Block 15.25" Floating Rotor Brake Package | JDP Motorsports

We've been hard at work developing new products and packages for the 6th Gen Camaros. Here are a few teaser shots of the brake package that features 6-Piston Mono-Block Brembo calipers and 15.25" 2-Piece Floating rotors.

This package has proven to work with excellent results!! This past weekend we took 1st Place in the Speed Stop, 2nd in the autocross and 2nd on the road course at the Ultimate Street Car event at LVMS!! We finished 2nd Overall in GT and got our invite to the OUSCI in Vegas following the SEMA show.

Road Course

The package will be 100% complete and it is a direct bolt-on. I will update this thread as we get more information.

Jordan,

I can't tell you how much it pleases me to see someone testing their parts on a car. It's great that companies come up with cool products. It's even better when they put them on a bench dyno, flow tester, etc. and get some scientific results. However, it's MILES better when someone puts them onto a car and flogs them on the track.

Not blowing smoke up you a$$, but your site just got bookmarked for when my 2016 comes in and needs some upgrades.

Matt,

I appreciate the positive comments! We always test the products we sell at the extreme limits so our customers can be confident in the products they're purchasing. :chevy:

BFG Comp 2's. How are they holding up?
Cannot make out your Wheel setup. 19's? 275 or 285?

Brake kit looks Fantastic.

They are Forgeline GA1R 18 inch wheels with 315/30R18 BFG Rival S tires.

I appreciate it!

Nice. Never considered that 18's would fit....or the Rival S.
Hmmm
I should look into that.

Are you lowered at all?

AndOne707 04-21-2016 01:07 AM

Quick question , on a set up as the one u are currently offering.
What's the minimum wheel clearance it would need?
Price point as well
I know it has been said but thank u for offering an alternative option with performance oriented.

We are at stock ride height currently and the car could definitely use some help in the roll/dive department. Having said that, it wins so I guess it can pitch and roll all it wants for now :smiling1:

The 18's are as small as you could go in the front. The rears could probably fit a 17". And, You are very welcome! We are enthusiast first and foremost and we enjoy what we do. We also have a very high priority set on being out there testing and fine tuning on the vehicle platforms that we modify.

We look forward to working with more of you in the very near future.

All the best,

Jordan, this might be way too early to tell but your thoughts of being able to swap the 14.7" rotors from the new 1LE for your 15.2" rotors and keeping the stock Brembo 6 piston calipers?

citizennick 04-30-2016 04:14 PM

What's your 18 inch setup/specs on the F/R? I'm looking to order some CCW's next month for track duty wrapped with some scuffs from PWC and Tudor.

These rotors won't work with the 1LE calipers unfortunately.

Is the Gen 6 bolt circle the same as the Gen 5?

OK thanks Jordan. Is there anything to be gained with using Slotted/Grooved rotors over solid non grooved rotors?
