Micky Thompson et street R bias ply

Hello,

Has anyone ran a 28x11.5-17 on 17x9.5 race stars?

I’m currently running 28x10.5 Hoosiers. Great tire, but I am tired of having to swap tires out. These new mt bias plys are dot !

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

don't think that would fit, i'm running the et street rs on my 17x10.5 racestars just fine. not the bias ply though. i heard bias ply won't last/ at least if you plan to highway drive them.

Here is my setup, I have not been to the track yet, but i have made a few pulls on the street. I did notice either my street tire setup or this track setup rubbed in the drivers side rear inner fender liner, which I did move the harness that runs up thru there. other than that it seems to fit, its tight though. I am running a 10.5 wide wheel versus your 9.5 wide wheel.

Front
Wheels: Race Star 92's 17x4.50 5x120BC 1.75"BS GLOSS BLACK

Rear

Tires: M/T ET STREET R BIAS 28x11.5-17

I will post as soon as I receive my VMS 17x10 wheels. I am going to mount MT 28x11.5 on them as far as I know hopefully harness relocation should help. Any input appreciated.

28x11.5 17 on VMS 17x10
Car is lowered on GM lowering springs and Bremen brakes
It’s a close fit but no rubbing so far on street driving.

How do they feel with the radials in the front?

Takes a little getting used to the soft tire walls in the rear but that’s all.

Call Bruce’s speed shop at 973 664 0192. He had them there. Kind of steep@ $75 but I knew they were the proper ones.
