Sorry, been off the grid for a little while. I would love to take my car to a track. I completely forgot about Lake Erie speedway! So they have days where joe blow can take their cars on the track? If so, I'm seriously going to have to look into it....:burnrubber:

They do autocross there, so they set up a cone course on the oval and through the infield. You aren't doing laps on the oval. Check out the schedule here https://www.mbrscca.com/solo/schedule-and-results/. They have their 2nd event this Sunday.

Won the race yesterday at New Era Field. I ran CAM class. Saw a sweet 1LE in novice and he won that class too. Camaro's FTW! Had a co-driver with me who came in second, having never driven my car. I took a friend's kid for a ride on my last lap and ran my best time a 44.432, the best time of the day was a nasty Subaru on Hoosier slicks that ran a 43.3.

Mike (the thread starter) showed up for a bit. His car is BAD ASS for sure! Hopefully we all get to do an event coming up. The next New Era event is August 25th.

A bunch of us usually meet up on Fridays after work at a friends shop in Elma to do some cruise nights
