I have my new 2023 order number. ...lol Radiant Red 2SS 1LE, sun roof as I like a comb over and not a reverse mullit. Alloy sport peddles, manual transmission and PDR if available. If not send in the order without. Now we wait on those constraints. Fingers crossed!

...but is it even a Camaro without a mullet :sm0:?

Is it normal for the dealer to do a credit check to place an order for a z?

I am not sure about a ZL1 but mine didn't for a 2SS 1LE. If you don't qualify it will sale so it shouldn't be required.

My dealer did the credit app the day I bought the car...

I'm surprised you have an order number already... I didn't think orders were open yet for '23.

Ya originally It was said the 28th would open orders. The 28th we will know constraints and the order bank open from GM. I wasn't sure if the dealer was telling the truth until he gave me my order number.

I'm working with my dealer to see if my order can be re-submitted for a 2023 as well. Hopefully I get a new order number soon as well!

I feel like I chose a poor time to come back to the fold. I sold my 2016 beginning of 2021 and have been living car payment free for a while now.... but I have that itch!

I want another, but this time I'm going for an LT1. No more V6 models I want that sweet V8 noise with none of the frills.

Any ideas on when ordering will be opened up in Canada? Is it the same as the US, the 28th as mentioned earlier?

I have some calls placed with friends at the GM dealer I used to work at, but even the managers have no info on what's going on yet.

Heyo! New member and future Camaro owner jumping in here. Planning on ordering a 2SS 1LE 6spd. Color? Thinking Radiant Red or Black. I spoke with a dealer (through a friend) and hoping to meet and start the build process in the next week or two. Actually want to use the delays i am seeing to my advantage as I would like to take delivery early next year. Maybe pricing will calm down a bit? Ordered a 23 Zl1 last friday. Got a order number today.

I currently have an order submitted for a '22 Camaro. It has yet to be picked up for production. I assumed that orders had to be canceled and resubmitted for '23. My dealer is saying that my order number with stay the same for my '23 order. Are order numbers able to be transferred from one model year to another? It seems like this shouldn't be possible, but does anyone have any specific information about this?

I received a new number and all I changed was color and sports peddle instead of the kit.

I had to resubmit last year from a '21 to a '22 order and got a new order number. I'm pretty sure the orders are model year specific when submitted and I've never heard of the order number staying the same...
