SS 1LE Carbon Fiber Braided Brake Lines
 

Long story short, the biggest let down for me on my ZL1 1LE was the brake feel, and using the network of people I know I had some carbon fiber braided brake lines made for the ZL1 1LE by a company who makes braking products for Formula 1 and Formula 3 vehicles.

Been getting a lot of PM's from the SS 1LE owners who have the Brembo calipers on their cars saying they would like a set that would fit their cars.


I've gotten all the drawings for the SS 1LE done and would be able to have 10 kits delivered within 3 weeks.

Hey guys, I've been away and just returned.

There are some of you who have already ordered up the SS 1LE lines, and good news is they are all going to be here by this upcoming Wednesday.

Anyone who has PM'd me should have a reply as of this post.

Anyone who wants a set of the brake line kits that are coming in, PM me and I'll get back to you asap. There are only 6 kits available as of this post.

Just an update to those who have been waiting on the lines. As promised, all lines are shipped as of today, all shipped kits should be delivered by Friday.


Got only a few SS 1LE specific lines left in this batch, if anyone wants some let me know. In hand and ready to ship.

I'll post some pictures of the SS 1LE lines, since these are the first ones that were made.

Just received my brake line kit today in the mail.Very happy with the quality and fast shipping.I will be putting these on over the winter with some new brake fluid.Hope to do this for the upcoming race season for next year.I will post when i do the change over.Thanks Mani for having these made.......

Received mine as well.

Mani even shipped new banjo bolts - truly a fully featured kit. Will try to rip them off & replace this weekend.

Just put them on today!

Word of caution for those doing their own work - the banjo bolts provided by Mani are smaller than OE. If you're trying to torque them to OE spec (30 pounds feet) it's very easy to round the bolt off. Be careful!
