Painted strut tower brace
 

Hey, has anyone spray painted their strut tower brace? I would like to have the ends gloss black and the middle part bright yellow to match.

I painted my calipers with rattle cans, could I use the same duplicolor caliper yellow paint?

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

When I had my 2011, I used engine paint from a rattle can. The paint never flaked at all.

My SS doesn't have this brace. Should it have one?

No, doesn't come standard.

It doesn't come standard on coupes, but it is not an option, either. It is standard equipment on convertibles.

As stated it comes standard with the convertible, because it’s lacking the roof to tie the body together structurally it’s common to do it this way.
You can add it from the aftermarket or Chevy performance, daily driver probably won’t be able to tell. But tracking it the car should be stiffer with more input felt to the driver

Painted mine to match the car.. primer..base coat and clear.

What paint did you use I was thinking of going with Acdelco touch up in a can form they also sell primer and clear coat also where did you get the sticker from
