E85 Gains
Hey guys my current mods are CAI, E85, and Long tube headers with x pipe. My car dynoed at 415 Wheel Horsepower and 451 wheel torque on E40, and 394 WHP and 425 wheel torque On 91.
His dyno reads the lowest compared to all the other tuners in my area(only about 4-5). He told me that when I’m close to an empty gas tank, and fill up the car will E85 only, I should be expecting another 20 whp gain. Would that also increase the torque, and how much would I have gained when I fill up on full e85 |
Just go back to the dyno for the number. Your tuner thinks you are going to gain 41 WHP from E85 on an NA engine? That seems quite significant.

If the engine is properly tuned on 93 then the gains from E85 is typically 25-30whp.

King is absolutely correct, at max on a bolt on N/A engine you wont see much more than 25rwhp from E85. Once you get to E55 or so you will see most of the gains that E85 will offer, from E55 to E85 on a N/A car will only net you around 5rwhp or so in gains.

Bear in mind, the OP's baseline numbers are on 91
