Any way to determine the true rarity of our cars?
I have a 2017 2ss car that was a special order car the original purchaser refused. It's garnet red, 6 speed manual, dual mode exhaust, no sunroof, factory ground effects, blacked out bowties from factory and grey painted wheels instead of the standard bright finish wheels.
I know it could be one on one with these options, but is there anyway to actually determine this? I have looked at the information provided on this website regarding production numbers prior to posting this thread. |
Hate to break it to you but rarity and Camaro do not go together. LOL
|
is not rare.
|
lol not rare unless you have a slime green 1le or zl1 1le or some shit
|
I mean within Camaro production, is there a way to determine if there are other cars optioned identical to mine.
I realize it's not rare like an Auburn Boattail Speedster or a 1953 Corvette. |
Yeah, in 40 years no one will care. Options like that don't make a car rare.
|
Yeah, but the way things are going, in 40 years, kids will point at a stick shift and ask "Dad, what is that?"

I agree .....it’s already here… In the last couple years I have worked with one of the car companies to supply college graduates in teams to go out and do special events, auto shows etc. ......the college graduates are brand new, recently graduated, and from all over United States....In the three teams of eight that I worked with, 6 out of 8 Could not drive a stick shift and had never been taught. So we taught them in a special class at the track.

Despite all the negative nancy responses, my original question remains unanswered.

OP, there is some partial 2017 build count info in this thread: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=515520

#s in yellow are guesses and need to be refined ... but using this as a starting point your car is roughly 1:200. |
As far as I know, there is no site/source that will break done production numbers all the way down to the specific options on your car.
Sorry. |
