PDR SD card 64 GB
:bonk:
Good Morning, I bought and format a new 64 GB SD Card. It seems that my 2018 Model does not accept the card. Current working card inside is 8 GB. Any idea how to solve or is there a max GB Limit for the Slot. Thank you Mates :search: |
I have a 64GB in my 19 ZL1 you have to change the file format to Fat32 which is normally only able to be used on a 32GB card and below. After some research I found a seemingly sketchy looking program that somehow allowed it to be formatted to Fat32. I’d started by looking for something like that.

Thanks, do you have a name for the Programm at windows PC?

(The unwillingness of Windows to format large disks as FAT32 is a ridiculous arbitrary restriction by Microsoft, the FAT32 format itself allows any practical flash drive or card size, but MSFT just had to plug their new NTFS file system this way...) |
Yes, just need to format the 64gig card in FAT32 and you will be fine.

I bought a 64Gb SD card and I formatted it using a FAT32 formatter that I downloaded from this website: https://fat32-format.en.softonic.com
