Toyo R888R question

Do you guys recommend I go with the 305 35s 20
Or 315 30 20?
This is for a 2019 Zl1 10 speed

I think you are going to have a potential rub issue with the 35s on the inside of the fender. Others on the forum have installed the 315/30s without any issue.

305/35/20 is one full inch taller, I seriously doubt it will fit without massive mods. I'm running 315/30/20 R888R's in the rear and it's already a very close call even after relocating the main body harness on the driver side.

I am thinking about replace my stock rears with the same exact r888r's. Do you like them? and where did you relocate the wire harness too? Is it a difficult change?

I have mixed feelings. On the positive side they look and hook great, their dry traction is excellent, but they are noisy and wear quickly, it's no coincidence they are only recommended for the track despite their DOT compliance. Overall, it's a matter of personal preference, everyone's tolerance of these drawbacks is different.

Here's a thread about the harness relocation, not a difficult change at all: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=485975. Also, LethalCamaro has a youtube video up that shows the process in detail.

I had these on my Z , 315 30 20 & the grip was great but it was so noisy for daily driving.

I switch from r888r 315 30 20 to m/t 305 35 20. Both fit perfect.
The toyos are the better of the two on handling. On drag both the same 11.2 at 128. The car is an oem car. On a modify car the m/t would be better.

I put 305/35r20 nitto 555r's on my 19.
Hooks pretty good without the r888r noise.

R888Rs in 325/30/20 with 20x11.5” BC forged wheels and custom off set. No rubbing. Hooks great for roll racing and pretty much the best street tire/dry traction around. The noise doesn’t bother me one bit.
