Android Auto and such 2020 MY and Back
Anyone have a good solution, or any solution for that matter for plugging up your phone in the armrest? I want to start using Android Auto but plugging in and setting it in place is a damn chore in that tiny space. My phone just about does not fit and it is only the S9 normal size.

I use the weathertech cup phone holder. Takes up one of the cup holders but I never use more that one.

I ended up buying a new cable that has 90 degree connections (on both ends). The phone sits in the arm rest a lot lower, sideways...
I just run the cable out the passenger side and leave it. The connection inside also frees up a little more room for other things, like 2 nickels instead of 1.:smiling1: |

I.E. The angle needs to go towards the passenger side but they all will go to the drivers side, or does that fit? EDIT: OK, I found a 2-pack, a left and a right. |

Haven't tried peanuts!!
I honestly don't remember being too concerned about the plug inside, I just wanted the USB-C plug to be a right angle. The one I ordered (from Amazon) was the UGREEN USB C Right Angle Cable 90 Degree Type C. Works great! |
