New ZL1 1LE owner and track guy
3 Attachment(s)
Hi guys, I've been a lurker on this forum for a while and finally pulled the trigger yesterday. Had a great purchase experience with Three Way Chevrolet Cadillac. Thanks Dario, Mike and Carlos!
I will be putting the car on track as soon as possible. I already have over 500 miles on it over a two day period lol. The concerns regarding the harshness of the suspension is overblown in my opinion but I'm coming from a 987 Boxster Spyder and 991.1 GT3 so not use to a plush ride anyway. The information here has been very helpful and looking to give back to the community when I can. I'm really looking forward to see what it can do on track. Ben |
so cool!!! and best dealer name ever

Welcome aboard Ben! You're going to love it! I came over from Porsche and an active Rennlister also. You are lucky to have had a good dealership experience. Mine was and is so horrible that I would not consider a Chevy again but I digress. I hope to hear of your Sonoma,Thunderhill and MRLS experience.

Congrats from another GT3 owner. I hope to join you soon... I have a TPW 11/16.

Man, I can't get over just how much better the stance is on the 1LE versus the normal ZL1. It just sits so much meaner.
Welcome to the club though! |
Congratulations! I have the standard strength ZL1 but love it. Ultimately just sold the 2010 977.2 GT3. I wasn’t using it much with 650 HP sitting next to it.

Congrats!! GORGEOUS car!

Thought of leaving the brakes as is for the first track day but glad I changed the brake fluid last night. Very noticeable amount of air in the line. Switched to Endless RF-650. Tonight will be differential and engine oil/filter change. Shooting for Thunderhill Raceway Park this Friday.

ahhh you found a NGM one. I've sort of been thinking about trading mine.
