This is a Camaro public service announcement for South Florida:

on May 2, 2017 from 7:00pm to 12:00pm, Bahama Breeze located on Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, Florida will be hosting the 1st Tuesdays monthly "Link Up" car meet.

This meet has all genres of cars...from exotics to project cars.

Parking is limited at Bahama Breeze, so I usually park west of the restaurant...I'll be the guy with cleanest stock looking SS nightfall grey metallic!!..lol. :happy0180:

I'll be there at 8:30pm...roll and come out!! (be careful of the cops)

I've been racing there since '82 but haven't taken my street car around it, yet.
That will happen in eight days, CFR PDX on May 5.

Car show? Or Is this like the old Sunoco meet ups? Where ricers attempt to race real cars? Lol

(Asking not teasing as I've never been there)

I haven't been to a kiddie meet in a while cause of that, the other night I got caught in one by chance after having dinner with my family, guy waited for me to load my 2 kids in the car and wife and then wanted me to race him lol (Moron...) glad the cops raided it shortly after...

8th street warriors :der:

*****Update....Event has been Cancelled******

..LOL... I know what you mean..

This car meet is sponsored by street racing made safe, 1 800 ticket, some car insurance company, and a whole bunch of other sponsors.

Last month, everything was out there: Mclerans, lambos, Porsches, GTRs, and of course tuners...

They also had corvettes C5, C6, C7..some were supercharged.

If you are familiar with Tuesdays at Carolina Ale House in Weston, FL, it was the same type of crowd...high end around the restaurant and then everybody else on the periphery.

MatthewAMEL ran his new SS 1LE there a few months ago, I have not yet. Not sure I really want to either. Like Daytona, I've been running that track for years and the only time I've ever had my suspension break or get damaged was there.
Don't get me wrong, I really like racing there, it's a very challenging track and a lot of fun. But if there's a weak spot in any chassis or suspension components, Sebring will find it for you.

From what the CFR is posting on facebook it is a spectator event and there is no entry fee. You'll just need to go to the registration building off of Williamson Rd on the West side of the speedway to sign in.

If you're on the book of faces just search, 'CFR May Showcase' and there's more info on it.

If I find out more I'll share it here.
