Where did you buy ?
Hello all
I’m in the market for a 6th gen and live in the Tampa area now , so I’m wondering where you bought yours and if you’d recommend a dealership. I don’t mind driving a bit for the right deal Thank you |
Fermn Chevy in Tarpon. I can give you contact info if you wish

I ordered from Stingray Chevrolet.
They took me serious, provided me updates, and have been nothing but professional and helpful since, even for service and the few warranty claims I've had. If you want to order a car their deposit is reasonable and refundable. They always have allocations because they are a big dealer. Because I ordered a car however my negotiation experience is different, that and I had supplier pricing and a few other incentives. They are no BS and as transparent as possible with their pricing. |
Not sure if you are looking for new or used, but mine is for sale. I live in Fort Myers. It is 2018 SS 1LE Mosiac black with 4,500 miles on it. PM me if you are interested.
If you are looking new I bought mine at Estero Bay Chevrolet, they are amazing there. |
Prices in SW Florida are high. 2x since July,I drove to MD. an bought at Criswell Chevy in Gaithersburg and traded a '17 C7 and an '18 Cruze. No dealer in Florida that I contacted could come within $1500 of what they offered for my trade and new vehicle price. I contacted over 20 dealers in the state. It's a very easy 2 day drive and a long 1 day drive from Ft. Myers area. If you want my salesman's info,PM me.He did right by me both times.
Also, there is no incentive to drop prices in the winter down here like there is up north. The sales manager at Rick Hendrick in Naples told me so when I bought the C7. Makes sense, specially with the influx of snowbirds ruining life for locals 5 months every winter! Plus Chevy just started a $1900 incentive for Camaros-I started a thread yesterday-not great but it's a start. |

I didn't buy my car in Florida. The prices here were just too high and too many places refused to budge. I went to Rod Hatfield Chevrolet in Lexington, Kentucky. They were willing to wheel and deal. I ended up walking out of the dealership with my 2018 Camaro 1SS 1LE for $37.5K last February.

I purchased from Becky D April 2017 I flew up to Detroit and drove my car home. By far the easiest and best car purchase I have ever made. The price was great and the service/experience was even better. Don't let the out of state thing worry you Becky will take care of everything... Give her shot you will not be disappointed. |
I went to Cox Chevy in Brandenton. Like someone said I was looking at 1LE's when they just came out... they were selling like hotcakes, so no dealer would give in. These guys were awesome. In and out in about 2 hours for the long drive back home.

No one in FL could give me solid confirmation on an allocation on mine, so I had to go through a contact and order out of Duluth, GA with Hendrick.
Had I known about Becky, I probably would have gone that route. Not one dealer in Central FL would take my deposit. |
Ferman Chevrolet in Tarpon Springs!!!
|
Schumacher in North Palm.

Elkland Chevy in PA has silly prices sometimes. Worth checking out. Even with shipping, the were thousands less than anyplace local to me when I bought mine. Scott May is awesome over there!
