Black smoke start up
 

I noticed a puff of black smoke every time I start the car.
Is this normal, or could I have a possible leaking injector? :iono:

The exhaust looks also darker than others. But I was also getting on it pretty hard a few times lately. :burnrubber:

You have a modded and tuned car so that might be your new normal.

Maybe, but they said they didn't change anything at the idle/ start up tables..

Tips look normal to me.

What does that smoke smell like? Burnt fuel or burnt oil or nothing (water vapor)?

normal.
black smoke is fuel, blue is oil.

I should add that this is similar to what I see on my car.

You probably have a lot of carbon buildup in the exhaust like me and probably every other DI Camaro.

I noticed black smoke coming out the back of my car when I romp on it after a day of easy driving. My car is 100% stock.

Same here. It's the new normal.
