Just saying sounds like fun. I am trying to get some folks together to meet and talk cars. If anyone lives in the area let me know. I know its a tourist town, but we do have some very nice local cars.

Looks like the three amigos.haha Have any of you been to the dragstrip in HOLT? I'm debating on going this weekend and having some fun? I'm not sure if it will hook or spin?
The only mods are whipple and cold air box, plus tune. I have heard great things about PRAY. He mentioned to me to help it hook if its spinning to put a 50 lb of sand over the right rear tire. CAMAROFEST ANYONE?

Negative. I have no plans to ever drag race this car. However, the closer you get to Eglin and Hurlburt Field, the more of us you will find.

Also just curious as to what, if any performance shops in the area that you guys have experience with as far as the sixth gen. Looking to do some mods that are a bit over my head (new converter, cam, etc)

I’m down the road from y’all in Panama City. We just reopened our drag strip near Fountain. Pretty decent and track prep was great. I’m not sure the schedule or anything. Closest 1/4 for me is SGMP.

I’m interested too. Also in Panama City. Powerhouse Dragway would be a great place to meet as well! Still need to get some times with E85!

Emerald Coast Camaro
 

I just bought a 2018 ZL1. Is there a Camaro club near Pensacola? I actually live in Milton, so Destin area isn't far.

I think there's an Emerald Coast Camaro club in the area. Try looking them up on Facebook. They have meets every few months I think. I hardly ever see posts from them. I know there's a bunch of us in the area but, I don't think there's any meets or gatherings that I'm aware of on a regular basis.

They're on Camaro5 if you want to post there. But they haven't had any Meet and Greets for a long time. It was a good club when the 5th gen came out and they would have M&G's every month or so but the newness wore off. Some go to Pony Wars in Georgia around this time of year. The Facebook hasn't been kept up either.:frown:

So whos up for a meet, i just got my 17 out of the shop. I know this weekend is gonna suck but maybe the next one....
