Is there a Camaro meeting place in Ontario?
Do you know some guys that like to show up with their Camaro’s and a coffee in this province? Post below!

I was also thinking about this as well. When I was part of the Corvetteforum years ago, we would always have weekly morning coffee runs kinda thing. I am based in the Northwest GTA. Usually we would meet somewhere in Mississauga which was central to many people. Usually just a big parking lot with a Tim's nearby kinda thing. As long as people keep their distance and park a few spots apart, I see no reason why a meetup can't occur.

How are you meeting up at a Tim Horton's while in lock down ? Just asking because that can't happen in my part of Ontario. However I don't see a problem with it if everybody stays outside. They won't even let us inside Tim Horton's right now.
Guess we can kiss another summer of car shows goodbye again  |
There is always hope.....

I am in BC where the restrictions are a lot more relaxed than Ontario for the most part. I recall going to a big car meet a while ago. A parking lot for a mall filled with cars. You know the drill, someone was dumb and revved the crap out of their cars, cops came, and everyone scrambled to see what would happen. I stayed behind with a few guys and the cops came up and told us that they could have ticketed us for gathering unless we all stayed in our cars with the windows partially down to socialize. Yeah, after that I just stopped going to any sizable meet. Basically only went to ones actually organized by friends. I went to an open lapping day over Easter weekend and supposedly, RCMP was watching us in a helicopter so we had to constantly make sure we are away with each other. |
Wow, the message is loud and clear who the real criminals are.

The track one, on the other hand... Not sure if that's the best use for resources just to watch people over in the sky. It is what it is. And oh yeah, I don't know how far cops can go but organizing something on social media might not be a good idea. The cops did ask me who organized that mall car meet and I honestly didn't know as I heard it from a friend and such, but if you did organize something on Facebook they might be able to track it down and fine you if they want to. Maybe something like Telegram or forums(where you have some anonymity) would be better. |
