This intake looks a lot better than their regular CAI. The filter looks massive! Anyone else running it?

nope still waiting on mine lol somebody bought them all up once in stock

I had one of these on my Silverado and thought it was good.


Now in the Camaro World, seems like Roto Fab is the go to CAI.


I'm not one to follow the crowd so to say, but I will if the crowd is on the right track.


I notice on one link (in post #1 Carbon Fiber unit) it says 13hp/12trq.


Then in another it says 10hp/9trq.


Are these two different CAI?


I've been on the fence for a while now trying to decide which CAI would be the best bang for the buck.
These things sure are not cheap anymore...I thought Roto Fab was expensive...LOL!

They (AFE) have 2 different CAI systems for the SS. The new carbon fiber one appears to outflow their original plastic version by a fair margin.

Are you running this CAI?


If so, have you done a dyno test with it?

I'm not running it, so no experience with it.

i have the original intake from them and will have the carbon fiber one from them shortly

I just ordered mine.... Anybody install theirs or receive it yet? I am a little concerned, I haven't seen anything about this intake anywhere. I hope I pulled the trigger on the right intake! lol

im still waiting on mine lol hopefully another month or so ill email them again today
