Gonna be selling my 22 zl1 soon

3 Attachment(s)
2022, manual, only options are the black fuel door (uninstalled), copper free brakes, and black locking lug nuts. It only has 2100 miles. I did the 500 mile oil change, then another a year later at 2000 miles, along with the differential servicing at about 1700 miles. It is shadow grey metallic but currently wrapped with Avery Dennison Hidden Forest and ceramic coated. Ceramic Tint all around (not a dark one...can't recall what percentage, maybe 30%?) It also has the LED side markers, blacked out rear reflectors, and zl1 add-ons mud guards.

Mods to car are only - Rotofab intake, MBRP axle-back (still have stock parts), and some BMR suspension components to keep the car straight under heavy throttle. All were installed at Elite Performance in Burlingame and an alignment done. The car had 1400 miles at that time. Mods were - A. Bushing kit, differential lockout, aluminum. B. Bushing kit, rear cradle, lockout. C. Cradle brace, front of rear cradle. D. Lower trailing arms, non-adjustable, poly bushings. E. Upper trailing arms, non-adjustable, poly bushings. F. Upper control arms, non-adjustable, poly bushings.

The car is mint - never seen rain, only hand washed by me. Going to price it at $72,000, but open to serious offers if you know anyone looking.

Thanks. We just moved into a bigger house with much bigger payments - but it only has a 2 car garage, and I don't want to tie up one of those spots with this car that I really don't drive much. Our kids are 8 and 10 and play a ton of sports, so I'm basically running them around from practice to game to practice and I won't put their dirty stuff in the Camaro, so it sits for most of the week.

Basically it's just a lot of reasons that add up to me preferring to sell the car and use that money on something else for now. I love it and it gets a ton of attention...and I'll probably never own a manual car again since they're going extinct, but family comes first.

Sorry for the future loss, I really love the wrap! Do you have any colour code and brand?

Thanks to the couple people who reached out so far. I know most of us already own ZL1s, but if you know of anyone looking for a really clean and unique one, please send them my way. Car is officially for sale now.

I get it. And kids just get more expensive as they get older. Thankfully mine are now grown, through college and out on their own (mostly). I wasn't able to afford my ZL1 until then so you are ahead of the game.

I love the color as well. You likely won't have much trouble selling the car. I just sold my 1LE over the weekend. With spring almost here the toy market is starting to pick up again.

That having only a two car garage effects me as well. I'm like you and I do not like to keep my vehicles outside. (Personal choice), so I have to come up with another way. For me, that's a storage unit. I completely understand your reasoning... Good luck with your sale.

I thought about the storage thing, but that's just another bill to add to the huge list

Such is life! And it will go on with or without us or the car, just like death and taxes!

Do you have the stock air cleaner? Who ever buys it will need it to smog it. and the exhaust might be a problem depending on the shop
and was there ever a tune on it?
gotta love California

Yes, I have all stock parts. Intake is an easy swap. This axleback is really loud on cold starts but then settles down and is totally fine, imo. Would be insane with some longtubes, though

Sorry to bring this up again, but I'm realizing that i'm not really sure what is the best way to sell this car now. The last few cars I've either traded in or sold to a friend/family member. What do people use nowadays to move cars like these?
