SS 1LE burnouts...no problem or you have issues?

Saw a related thread on this where some said they were having issues with namnie intervention or wheel hop. Yeah, we all know it’s a track car, but who doesn’t wanna do a burnout here and there? Like a regular clutch dump, rolling burnout.

Let’s try to gather what works, and what doesn’t work.

Personally, I have no issues. Nice burnout, no wheel hop or nannies interfering. I usually use sport mode, and turn on competition mode.

Who has no issues, and what do you use?

Who has issues, and what do you use?

Yeah that was my thread, I have attempted to burnout since I uploaded that video. I’m FBO now so who knows, maybe I can? Only issue I have.

Oh and I’ve tried just about every traction control option we have, again it has been some time since I’ve last tried

Didn’t you just have an issue doing brake stands?

I’m taking about a regular ‘ol clutch dumping rolling burnout...

Yeah just brake stands and dang, people can’t do a rolling burnout?? Haven’t heard that one yet.

Check this thread. Some saying they have issues with nannies and wheel hop...

What settings did you use to do a rolling burnout?

No issues with nannies or wheel hop like me?

I had the same issue at first cause your overthinking it, put it in sport or track and click traction control button once the light will come on and your free to burn rubber!
Messing with the driving settings sport track etc will not get you there they always apply nannies.

If you go all nannies off or comp mode which disengages TC you won't have any issues beyond a driver skill of course.

I 1000% do not want to do a burnout. I haven't even attempted to do one of those since my teenage years. If my tires ever brake loose, I blame it solely on driver error. I gave too much gas for the given conditions of the road or I went beyond the limitations of my tires.

Any of you guys get any wheel hop during a burnout? I haven’t detected any myself.

Rolling burnouts in 1st and 2nd in Sport with stability control completely off has been no problem. I usually do it coming out of a corner to add a little drift angle just for good fun. At 45 or less degrees ambient temperature it will do it in 3rd gear too: better power to tire grip ratio.

They do power slide well! If you push it past it’s high grip limit lol...

Why? These cars were made to grip - not slip! Save your tires for the turns!!
