RED banner day today. We were 0n the 710 south near the 405 heading to PV for a drive and a walk, and was joined up for awhile with a 2010-11, newly bought, no plates VR SS with black painted stripes like the latest bumblebee in TR3, also had black wheels. Then passed by a RJT SS with non painted Heritage grill and he led the three of us. Caught up to the RJT before the Vincent Thomas Bridge,VR SS went the other way, we each gave a nod, and were cruising together through San Pedro till we went up to PV and they headed down toward Point Ferman.
At Point Vicente saw several large Finback whales, several Greys and alot of Dolphins. Those Finbacks were blowing water 40-50 feet into the air, really amazing!:w00t:
Then I here a distinct sound, look up and see a silver P-51D Mustang fighter from WW2! He was moving to fast to get a shot though:mad0259:
I then turn toward the parking lot and see a perfect 67 Red with white stripes Camaro, white interior and white convertable top, which was down on a great day like this of course!:w00t: Again no time for a shot.
After that the P-51 made a return but Doris had the camera and she was elsewhere:mad0259:
All in all not a bad day!!
